The Chicago Dojo  demonstrated Mugai Ryu Iai Hyodo at the Anderson Japanese Garden for their annual Summer Matsuri. We shared time with amazing groups demonstrating a wide variety of Japanese cultural and martial arts. Senior students demonstrated tachi waza (standing technique), as well as paired forms and tameshigiri (mat cutting). It was an incredible day for everyone involved, and we had a great time connecting to the community. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
