We are reprising our very popular Anatomy of a Fatality event this year, once again partnering with Mesh & Bone for a shochu (a type of Japanese alcohol) tasting. This year, we plan to add a little more to the program to keep things fresh and fun. For information, please visit the event page.
Due to overwhelming demand from prospective students, our Introduction to Japanese Swordsmanship classes have filled up, and we are unable to take any more students. We are hard at work with the Japanese Culture Center to see if we have any other opportunities to introduce Japanese Swordsmanship to some new students in other ways, so stay tuned for more news!
The final class at the Chicago dojo will be December 9th, followed by dinner at a local restaurant (TBD). We will have a signup sheet out at classes over the next couple weeks so that we can get an accurate head count.
To cultivate our minds and bodies in order to improve the world we live in.
Integrity, honesty, loyalty, discipline, and perseverance.
We push ourselves to be the best we can be, and by doing so, inspire others to do the same.
We have set ourselves on a path to bring the practice of this powerful, old and beautiful style of swordsmanship into the 21st century. We invite you to walk this path with us to learn what it is to be a swordsman.
