We are happy to announce that classes at our Chicago branch will be resuming!
Currently, we will be having class at the Japanese Culture Center from 9:00-10:30 AM CT. Classes will be limited to 5 students, and strict cleanliness protocols must be followed. If you are a current member, please check the forum for updates to our procedures.
If you are not currently a member and would like to begin classes, please contact the Japanese Culture Center office for our introduction class availability. We have made some changes to the intro class structure and slots are extremely limited.
Thank you to everyone for your patience as we work through this!
Now that we are nearing the end of the Illinois Governor's stay-at-home directive, we will be looking to resume classes at the Chicago Dojo in a way that is safe and productive.
Please continue checking the forums and keep an eye on your inbox for updates on classes. If you have any questions, please reach out in the forum
We will be creating a waitlist for new students at the Chicago Dojo in order to maintain reasonable class sizes. We will also be discussing options for an introduction class, but that may have to wait until fall.
Thank you to everyone for their patience!
Due to the ongoing condition of the city and the continued shelter-in-place directive for the city of Chicago during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are going to continue our suspension of classes until further notice. Again, please check back regularly for updates.
