The Japanese Culture Center – Tenshinkan Dojo has been home to Mugai Ryu Iaihyodo in the Midwest region of the United States since 2001. As a branch, or Shibu, of the Mugai Ryu Iaihyodo Ryuōkai, the Japanese Culture Center has hosted teachers from Japan on numerous occasions.

America Midwest Shibu

The America Midwest Shibu comprises the Chicago and Milwaukee Dojo. Students who join either of these dojo will also be joining the Mugai Ryu Iaihyodo Ryuōkai, a worldwide federation of Mugai Ryu Iai Hyodo practitioners, teachers, and training centers.
